Coach Meagan

Maegan’s swim career started in the summer of 1999 on the Snellville SuperSonics. She swam with Swim Atlanta from 1999 until 2005. Near the end of her four years of high school swimming at South Gwinnett, Maegan suffered an injury that prevented her continuation in competitive swimming. She went on to graduate from Georgia Southern University in 2009 with a BS in general studies and a Minor in Child and Family Development & Child Psychology. She graduated from Mercer University in 2014 with a BS in Birth through Five Education with a Special Needs Accreditation.

Maegan has taught swim lessons for more than five years, and served as Assistant Coach for the Snellville SuperSonics for three years. She is thrilled to see and feel the love of swimming through children each day, a gift she considers amazing. When she isn’t at the pool, she is with her two children who are the center of her world.
