Summit Swimming COVID-19 Email Update 3-18-2020

Summit Swimming Family,

We have been closely monitoring the fluid developments of the COVID-19 situation and its implication on us as a swim family. USA Swimming issued a new statement today regarding our team operations. We have been instructed to cancel all team practices and activities through the full 8-week time period recommended by the CDC and COVID-19 Task Force.

We are a family and your health is important to us. We encourage you to take this time to adhere to the recommended hygiene, social distancing, and limited gathering practices. For more information on COVID-19 and the recommended guidelines, please go to the CDC’s website at www.coronavirus.gov.

For the swimmer who has completed the lessons program, or summer swim league, we have a great way to introduce year-round swimming.  This work-out team focuses on stroke production and endurance building so that the swimmer can make the move onto the competition team.  The high level coaching produces stronger, confident swimmers who are ready to compete at the next level.  
 
This team does not participate in USA Swimming meets, but focuses on the training required to do so.  Practice is three days weekly and fees are billed monthly.   
 
Practice Schedule:
Tuesday 6 - 7 pm
Thursday 6 - 7 pm
Saturday 10 - 11 am
